Austrian Foreign Minister affirms his country's need for 100 thousand migrants in 2030 until the end of
July 24, 2010Mikhail Cbendael Iger said the Foreign Minister and Chairman of the Federation of Workers and Employees in Austria that the country needed 100 thousand immigrants until the end of 2030 pointing to the need for extra manpower and expertise in the health sector and social services sector and tourism.Cbendael called Iger said in an interview televised to the Austrian Government to adopt the current and future governments to actively plan and program towards immigrants, pointing out that, according to statistical forecasts, more than 30 percent of Austrians would exceed 60 years of age and the population may shrink in the future.Cbendael Iger noted the need for the policy of selection and the expertise to attract labor from Eastern Europe and various other specified three conditions for approval of the reception of migrants and their families are learning the German language and integration into Austrian society and acceptance of its laws and respect for women.
